About Us
Guyrobb Electrics, then known as W & AJ Robbins was established in 1966 by Bill Robbins. For many years Bill did a range of electrical installation work including Ministry of Housing, light industrial and commercial.
Bill then worked alongside his friend Joe Guymer and they eventually became partners, they changed their name to Robbins and Guymer but finally settled on the name Guyrobb Electrics.
Joe left to pursue another path and Bill continued to grow Guyrobb Electrics, picking up contracts from various new home builders across Melbourne. Bill’s son Jon started with Guyrobb as an apprentice in the late 1980’s and in 1995 became partner alongside Bill.
Since the late 1990's Guyrobb has
seen steady growth and now employs qualified electricians, ACRS
registered cablers with endorsements for data and fibre, Clean Energy Council
accredited grid connect PV installers and designers, excavator operators, apprentices and office staff.
We have over a dozen fully equipped work vehicles and 2 excavators. Guyrobb is now based on the Mornington Peninsula and provides wiring solutions to several volume new home builders in the Melbourne area.
